Short Description: Fabrication of control tubes

Worked on fabrication of the flight control tubes according to the construction plans. After cutting tubes to different lengths, I worked on conditioning the bushings. I ended up using portable drill because it had the larger chuck opening than my other electric drill. Good thing I had 3 other spare batteries. I used a 1 1/4" x 1/4" hex bolt with two washers, inserted into the bushing and then spun the bushing until it got hot (slightly smoking) and then inserted it into cold water. The bushing now moves freely and is not stiff.
