The glareshiled had 3 angles to attach the glarehield to the firewall. There are 2 side fueslage to instrument panel brackets that require bending in accordance to plans 30 degrees down. THe instrument panel itself need bending along 3 sides to the plans angle.The cross support channel needed to be measured cut bent to 66 degrees to support the instrument panel bottome edge. the cross support had 2 attack mount plates to the side fuelage. All these parts were measured and cut andpre drilled then upsized drilled. all parts were then prepped for priming. The glareshield was also fitted and drilled. The firewall holes were particularly tough to drill. Once all completed it was very staisfying to see the fowrard fues look covered and strengthened by the new black coloured shield. almost ready for wing rigging.
