Couldn't test fly yesterday as the airport was closed to finish up the runway repaving. Got to airport today early hoping to fly, but weather was crappy. Decided to just work on some stuff...

Modified a Kobalt air chuck/gauge to take a sdtriaght chuck so I can access air valve in main wheels through hole in wheel pant, and check pressure. Tapped a 1/2" NF hole in body of gauge handle. Worked out well. Aired up tires to 60/40.

Was able to snug 45 degree fitting on remote oil filter base just a tad...might be what I needed to get rid of that final oil oozing. Put a clean rag behind filter to catch any oil for evidence. Added some RTV stand ofsf for mixture cable as it passed in area of oil hoses.

Recowled in prep for next flight. Oil at 7.75 quarts.

Think I may have found my ADI problem. The GPS cable in the back of the ADI, while inserted, did not appear to be seated....there is a distinct click when it seats the whole way...which takes moderate pressure. Seemed to erect fully now. Dsub power connector tightened down while I was back there. One side anyway...couldn't get a screwdriver on the other side enough to turn it. My panel planning really sucked....may just redo the whole thing some time. Not now!

Increased AP lat and vrt activity settings to 8....will see if that cures the hunting.
Com 2 - Mic 1 squelch reduced to 75 from 80. Check next flight..

Set AFS vert bugs to 8000 and 1000. Turned bugs off on screen for now. Will use on real flights in future. Set min. AS bug to 100 for pattern speed.
