lots of time behind and under panel trying to determine what issue is. Did a lousy job of laying things out back there to make it easy to service.
Did determine that WX Works unit is getting power...steady green power light. Data light is blinking and signal light is unlit. Appears that antenna and ethernet cable are connected although I can't get a real good look or hand on them. Troubleshooting guide in Wx Works manual seems to suggest bad data connection or "xm software not running" The xm software item is consistent with botht he data light blinking and the siganl light being unlit
Going to e-mail AFS and Aerotronics to see if there is a setup thing to do.
Sent 3rd refresh request to XM and left plane outside for another hour today.
According to manual there should be an annuc. at lower left that says searching for xm signal... none there...that is why I think it might be a set up issue.
