Brief Description:  crimp connectors on P-1 power plug

Doesn't look like 5.5 hours of work on P-1, but it was. Crimped all of the power connections and inserted pins in the AMP Series 1, 37 pin connector, P-1.
Took a while to get the hang of it, had a coupe of do-overs. All in all, came out real well. I was dreading this job, put it off for a while, but got this milestone done.

Had a couple of 14 AWG wires that I really struggled with (pitot heat, landing light) until I realized that there were 2 sizes of pins in the bag from Aerotronics. The larger pins worked fine. Used my molex crimp tool. C/C die and C/B die on the small pins. Stripped 1/2" on the 18-20-22 AWG wires, and about 1/4" o n the 14 AWG wires. Worked great... the right tool for the job. Dad would be happy! Added shrink tube labels for all wires.

Mag wires were not as big a deal as I thought, even though I had to make a lead out of the shields for the ground pins.

Started laying out things for the P-5 plug, which is all the trim relays and flap sensor connections. Ready to wire next time.
