Brief Description: cut and rivet in Hartwell hinge for oil door
This seemed like it would be difficult and risky. Hate to miscut here and have to fab a new door. Worked out amazing well. I don't think the measurements for the hinge cut out in the manual are correct. I measured and marked from actual hinge. All good. #39 drill, 3/32 rivets, 100 degree countersink. Hartwell 5000-2 hinge.. nice piece of hardware. Some of the RV guys put two of these on.. I don't think that is needed with the flange and hinge. It is very solid. Need to micro the door edges, I think.
