helper hours....3 extra people for 4.5 hours. Four was a good number.....could probably squeak by with three but there is a lot going on and many things to watch.
Right side....had to do a little grinding of the micro/BID fillet on the top underside of the wing fairing where it meets the forward spar cap
Left side......two issues. First was the top inside edge of the spar had a slight lip on it.... maybe 1/16" but enough to prevent spars from nesting. Marked with a sharpie then took the DA sander to it with 80 grit. Made quick nice work of it. Also rounded the end just a bit.
Second issue.... while I was sanding the lip off, Chris noticed some marks/scratches on the aft side of the left spar from our insertion attempt. Turns out the factory installed machine screw in the spar attach plate was sitting a bit proud....prob. 1/32". Took a grinder and a sander to the edge of the machine screw head and got it smoothed down
