Brief Description: make pattern for R side light bulkhead
Lots of trial and error making up cardboard patterns for recog. light bulkhead for wing tips...idea from Mark Meyers. Did R side...hope left side is close to the same.
Going to use Aeroled's Sunray Plus for landing/recog light. Keeping Whelen A650 nav and strobe ligth to avoid reported interference (RFI) issues. 1/2" inboard at front of tip...slanted slightly back to .75" in at aft end. This will give a clearer path for the Sunrays past the strobe lens.
Ground front of wing tip flange slightly for nav lens light path.
Making bulkhead out of leftover carbon fiber from bottom of cowl.
Won't drill any holes until I have the lights and won't drill for NAV lights until I know I am not flying! Will work ahead on it slowly so as not to take away any flying opptys.
