Disappionted and frustrated. Another 3 hours trying to fix stuff Aerotronics did wrong, and/or failed to test. Jason has been good about it, but the fact remains I am spending a lot of time testing and fixing things after panel and all wiring is installed. Very difficult.
Manual has many errors which makes it more frustrating and difficult to troubelshoot. Latest is now that there are wiring harness issues and mis-programming of GNS530-GTX45R interface. Jason to correct manual and give me some steps to attack this.
Also installed new TT autotrim module (v 4)... Jason wired my old module (V 1 or 2) to new wiring specs...gave me a free new module and that worked. Of course hole spacing was changed too so had to drill new hole behind panel. Re-installed COM bypass jack... screws installed in panel were too long and were shorting out jack. Tested?
