Brief Description: run AOA tubing; verify sync wires for Rec LIghts
Pulled wing tips to run sync wire for Rec LIghts. VP200 did sync before, now I need 2 extra wires to sync L and R lights. Pleasant surprise.... I ran 2 add'l white wires when I ran the power and ground for Rec Lights when they were added. Must have been thinking ahead! The extra white wires will be connected to blue and yellow wires on rec lights for wig-wag.
Couldn't run tubing alone into the conduit...tried for a while. Had to use fish tape from fuselage out to L tip. Easy - should have done that to begin with! G3X AOA is built into pitot tube. Uses the normal pitot tubing PLUS and add'l 1/4" tubing for the AOA input to the pitot tube.
