Brief Description:  Flight test #7

redo aileron and rudder trim; rudder OK....aileron close...will leave like this and reset rudder trim bug on EFIS; attempt to calibrate ADI. I think screwdriver blade was too thick; will retry with sanded down plastic blade next flight. with the correct size metal screwdriver blade along. Tried AFS lean mode....need to research more as I was afraid to lean any further. Comm radios still crappy....need to research adding a conventional antenna to belly...how to do ground plane, etc. Still had oil leak from Airwolf filter....after flight redid fittings with yellow gas teflon tape per Jonny at Airwolf and changed oil while I was at it. Hopefully leak is gone. Angle pilot seat forward about 1". Recentered rudder trim bug; adjusted elev trim bug. Had rub on cowl at front left baffle...bent in slightly. Check next time cowl is off. Got FP high warning while descending into KCXY...MP about 12" with mixture rich....FP was 37 psi. Changed upper limits to 40 hi yellow and 45 hi red. (from 36/40). Timer expired and traffic now being heard...not sure what I changed. AFS timer expired still not audible. Other AFS sounds are being heard. Prob will use G330 anyway as I have done that for over 10 years. AP volume (trim up/down) faint...need to recheck volume although I think it is as max. Ran up and checked for leaks. Recowled...ready for next flight..hopefully 7/4. WOT, ram air in , 2400 got 184 TAS (hoping for 190-200...temps alll good. I think cowl inlet could be reduced. Chuck Hess says he had a IV cowl too and reduced it to 6" and picked up 12 MPH...about 10 KIAS.
