This upholstery work is really harder than is seems, or how it looks. Not happy with outcome but will fly it that way for a while. Probably get a local car interior guy to recover. I think the panels I made are fine. I ended up using 3 layers of the 1/4" to get the right support level, but that just made it even harder to cover. A thinner, denser foam would work better I think.
Installed in plane with industrial strength velcro
