Sometimes I am just stupid. The Marine Corps may want to apply for a refund for my 9 months in various electronics schools. I DO know the difference between a resistor and and diode!
Talk about mind bias..... VP wiring called for a 1000 ohm resistor in line in the aux sense circuit. I took the "item" supplied with the VP stuff and put it in line on the aux sense circuit. It was a diode...presumably for a contactor somewhere. No resistor supplied...will need to get one at Radio Shack...I think that will fix the problem of the B battery not showing up correctly on the VP.
