Brief Description:  Sun N Fun report Panel and VP200

No work last weekend or this coming weekend as i went to FL. Spent a day over at SNF...was very productive.
1st stop was Gary Wirrell at Aerontronics...dropped off my panel blank that I fitted last session. He will take back to MT to begin work. Gave him a deposit check so now I am committed. Ron Galbraith stopped by wheil Gary and I were talking, so he looked at my panel and made a few goos suggestions. AFS 4500 (will have chart view and synthetic vision, AFS 3500 on right side, G 530W, Vertical Power VP-200, plus other goodies. Total cost will be about $60K...about 50 of that in parts and components.
#2 - next stop was a nice chat/demo of VP200 with Marc Ausman the owner. Really just confirmed my choice, but I got a good gut feeling for Marc the person. He will work with Gary on the load planning and set up.
#3 roamed through the homebuilt parking area. Met Bob Patusek and Ed Smith, both IVs. They are the original builder/owners of the rotisserie I am picking up from Bill Harrellson in a few weeks. Gave them my personall thanks and looked over there planes a bit. Bob is part of the LOBO set up group. Invitied me to a workshop in June re: condition inspection. They are doing his for the workshop. In Manassas, VA....will try to attend.
#4 Visited with Rhonda & John Barrett and my new engine...awesome.
Factory reman Continental IO-550, then Reno edition mods and GAMI injectors by Barrett. Looks good and they said it tested very well. They will ship it back to Redmond for the engine fastbuild completion. More engine details later.
