after i cut pad from scrap fiberglass, I thought there may be an issue with heat. Others have made this pad from phenolic. Hooked up light on fiberglass pad for about 15 minutes. While light and lens get hot, the housig itself is not even warm and the fiberglass seems fine. Will let go and watch. If heat is an issue, will redo with phenolic
