Brief Description: improvised pliers for squeezing rivets
The top nutplate on the pant was impossble to get to with the normal rivet squeezer. Used a pair of needle nose pliers Friday on the left side, with help from vise grips...worked, but hard to do and not the prettiest.
Went rummaging through the tool box and found this old pair of pliers that were Dad's.....narrow jaws, but using full leverage advantage. Added masking some tape to cushion cross-checked jaws from rivet.
jaws stay square, and there is more mechanical advaqntge than a normal set of pliers
