Brief Description: fab shim washers for engine mount
had some more rub on lower cowling after last run. Decided to explore shimming mount out. The AN7 flat washers are about 1/8" thick. Cut channel in them so I could slip in between FW and mount without taking bolts out completely as they are a pain to re-align to install.
Can't access the nuts (inside) on top two mounting bolts without taking interior out. Also determined that I would need to use longer bolts. Decided to defer until first condition inspection when I have the interior out and I can more fully determine how much engine sag there will be. Will probably use regular wahsers without the channel cuts if I am pulling bolts anyway.
