Brief Description: fit upper & lower cowling; 1st pass trimming
lot of trial and error; hang, shim gap at spinner backing plate to 3/16". Many trade-offs to get a good fit.
Mark line 8" behind aft joggle edge... used that to set trim line. Actually cut too conservatively the 1st pass.... had to trim again. Used dremel with diamond blade, then DA sander and then 17" long board to finish edge
Hung lower cowl first... actually went fairly well. Have some extra pics on my cell phone as I forgot my camera this weekend (in my flight bag for my cancelled FL trip!!). Borrowed neighbor Kathy's camera for Friday.
