Recieved 1:1 cad cam drawing from Gary Wirrel at Aerotronics last week. Cut a piece of cardboard to fit and clamped into fuselage. Clamped pilot's side seat frame in and added a few cabin cushions.
Here are the findings:
the 4 rocker switches and the VP swith panel need to be moved up into the panel....may need to trim the bottom part of the panle off (pilot's side) for add'l leg clearance
add headet jack on pilot side....align with left edge of current position of left most rocker switch
do I need the 3 dimmer switches? (radio, instr., EFIS) Move however many are needed up into the panel on the left side of the AFS 4500
Move flap switch to right side of T-P-M quadrant (to avoid leg interference)
add 3 cables to where dimmers were (oil cooler door, alt air, heat)...have Gary check the checklist before finalizing....as these items were listed on the checklist
arrangement for the five 2.25" instruments is fine
per checklist...need faceplate for T-P-M quadrant made up
