Got tired of bodywork, so I worked on the battery box mounting. (and everything was still curing)
Drilled and de-cored 8 1.25" circles; added thick flox to holes; cut shims from scrap and bonded on top of hardpoints as they set up. Cut part of FS185 top angle off to allow for removal of battery box cover. Still seems plenty stiff. Will add 2 BID to top of FS185 to tie to fuselage sides for extra rigidity.
Actually only 6 1.25" holes de-cored as the two bottom, inboard holes goes through the flange for the elev. bellcrank and really do not need to be hard-pointed.
