Brief Description: research gusset removal and seat placement
After much study, decided to elimate gusset on forward bulkhead that reinforces area where front seats belts attached. Really don't think it is needed, fuel hoses are in and in the way. Can easily add later if needed.
Seat, in rearward position, should be adequate for me. Decided not to shift the forward seat placment back 3 inches as suggested as possible in manual. I am 6 feet tall, but it feels like it will be fine. Can be a future mod if really needed.
Also stopped by the hangar and sat in Lance N220L to test foot position on rudder pedals. Needed to know this in order to determine how high to make the floor boards in ES 144GP. Will duplicate this height, which is basically tip of the toe to the top of brake part of the pedal, maybe 1" short of that.
