Brief Description: messed up fuel selector base...re-did
Thought I was being smart by using top of fuel selector as a jig for setting the screws in the phenolic base....had eyeballed the spacing...looked right. Turn out that the aft holes are about 1-1.5 inches narrower than the forward screws.
Ground out the flox and used the heat gun trick to pop the phenolic off.
Remade the part using the actual selector base as the pattern for the holes. Drilled holes slightly oversize to allow for some wiggle room. Re-bonded phenloic to fuselage and set actual pump in place to hold screws. (after adding release tape)
