Spent a lot of time reconciling the parts list, to the parts I have, to the 2 versions of the manual Many inconsistencies, very frustrating. Fired off an e-mail to Lancair:

Hi Justin and Kim. I am not sure if this is a technical question or a problem with the parts list.
Working on the fuel system...chapter 14. Have referred to both the binder manual and the new pdf file manual. Obviously changes were made, and I assume the pdf manual takes precedence as a 2006 revision. Couple of problems:
1 -Parts list and manual text calls for a KCI supplied "fuel pump mount" I can find nothing of the sort. I do have a clamp (145-0008) that looks like it is part of this set up.
2 - No RS1017 of RS1015 fittings. No fittings included with fuel selector, but there may be enough in the parts bins to get it done.
3 - Both manuals show 90 degree fittings (with a female end) to the fuel finger strainers in the wing.....do not have those.
4 - The bigeee, though, is that I have 4' of both #4 (RS3000) and #8 SS (RS3002) braided fuel hose, and that is what is on the packing list. There is no way this is enough hose to get from the fuel selector to the wing. Looks like it would take 5-6' PER SIDE.
5 - Should it be braided hose or alum. tubing from selector to pump?
Kinda confused now and would appreciate some direction and the correct parts to accomplish that.
