Brief Description: pressurize nose strut; ~300#...1.5" extension
Asked Dick Duncan to come over with his nitrogen tank to pressurize nose strut. Had to use his "high pressure" valve which mechanically opens Schrader valve if pressure won't open it.
Strut seems a little stiff. Dick suggested using it for a while then rechecking pressure.
Factory called for 250# +/- 25#; Tim Ong said 1-1.5" down from full extension in his latest post/email. Dick estimates we had 300# pressure in.
Steve Berube at Lancair verified that fluid in new strut is 5606...red brake fluid
