unload cowling, wheel pants and supplies from last weekend at cabin; put everything away
fetch jack and 6 gas cans from other hangar
level fuselage...had to remove ram air so that lifting with hoist would not damage it
set bubble level on a bed of micro just forward of spar tunnel...will be behind interior panel across fuselage in front of aft seats
while I had nose wheel off the ground I measured nose strut travel....~4.25" at full extension; Tim Ong says we should have 1-1.5" of strut compression....marked 1.25" with blue line on strut cylinder. Will ask Duncan to charge strut with nitrogen for me. Lancair says 250# +/- 25. We'll see how these two metrics compare. In a separate e-mail Tim says 25-50% compression....1.25-2.5"... a bit of a conflict in his two repsonses.

Drain all fuel from both wing tanks....took hose off at engine fuel pump and used boost pump to pump all fuel form both wings. This is in prep for calibrating fuel tanks on Monday. Have alomot 30 gallons of fuel in 6 5 gal cans
