Brief Description:  level and micro bubble level in; drain fuel; measu

unload cowling, wheel pants and supplies from last weekend at cabin; put everything away

fetch jack and 6 gas cans from other hangar

level fuselage...had to remove ram air so that lifting with hoist would not damage it

set bubble level on a bed of micro just forward of spar tunnel...will be behind interior panel across fuselage in front of aft seats

while I had nose wheel off the ground I measured nose strut travel....~4.25" at full extension; Tim Ong says we should have 1-1.5" of strut compression....marked 1.25" with blue line on strut cylinder. Will ask Duncan to charge strut with nitrogen for me. Lancair says 250# +/- 25. We'll see how these two metrics compare. In a separate e-mail Tim says 25-50% compression....1.25-2.5"... a bit of a conflict in his two repsonses.

add click bond stud behind bubble level in order to secure brake line

Drain all fuel from both wing tanks....took hose off at engine fuel pump and used boost pump to pump all fuel form both wings. This is in prep for calibrating fuel tanks on Monday. Have alomot 30 gallons of fuel in 6 5 gal cans

RTV small gaps in engine baffling; re- RTV fuel line to top of standby alternator

Reinstall ram air and secure all fasteners
