Brief Description: replace strut; remove parking brake and re-bleed;
Replaced front door strut after it crashed on me again. Had the strut for a while just never put it on. The plastic/nylon griipers in the old fitting were broken allowing the strut to pop off the ball. This new strut, which is also from SPD, seems to have a better attching mechanism. Strut itseldf is good so will keep as a replacement. You could buy the whole strut for what 2 of the fitting cost. The several crashes has smashed the delrin door guide to a point where it is gone...need to track down a replacement
Fiited front arm rest and drilled holes in aileron control bracket,,,taking armrest north to micro this week during deer hunting.
Removed Matco parking brake that seems to be leaking. Going to just bypass it for now and work on fixing it at a later date. Re-bleed brakes
