Brief Description: belly antenna; replace B battery
sanded just enough of belly super-fill to attach antenna to belly; compressor would not run with piss poor curcuits at Carlilse airport. Too cool to add any super-fill anyway so just did enough at hole to attached antenna. Will need to do later with seal and sealant. Also need to get a BNC male to female straight connector.
Used nyloc SS nuts on inside but think they should be mteal lock nuts so as not to insulate the ground plane connection.
Installed new batteries for B battery. we try to recover the old Batteries...maybe cycle back in to 144GP, or use for mower, tractor or ATVs. Two Odyssey PC 680s from Battery Mart..~ $110 each.
