Two separate sessions sanding, shaping and super-filling cowl inlets. Took advantage of some nice fall evenings and the halogen lights on the new cell phone heater switch. Actually pretty pleased with where there are so far. Diameter down to 5.75" at front opening, tapered smaller by probably 1/4" in towards engine. Very symetrical. Put top and bottom halves together to check fit. Not bad. See next set of pics. Orig. diameter was 6.5-6.75"; more of an oval with the IV carbon cowl.
