Brief Description: prep vertical hat rack for bonding
prepped area, cut two 6 BIDs 12" long by 2.5" wide for 6 BID hat rack flange. Will bond tomorrow. This not only provides mounting for vertical part of hat rack, but is structural to fuselage. Not in manuals but a well known fix... not optional in the view of many. Should be in manual!
Will need to make a fairing of some kind to dress up area where vent tube enters o/h console
plave hat rack 10" aft of FS 185
super-glued blocks to hold for 6 BID; screwed edges to joggle
