Brief Description: fix pin 45; install PFD; begin set up
extracted broken pin at #45 of PFD P4x02 connector. Took some fiddling with HD D sub green & white insertion/extraction tool. Crimped new pin in can bus pig tail, inserted and re-assembled LRU backshell. Installed PFD back in panel. Had some confusion on which D sub to connect where. Neglected to take pics when removed and the memory doesn't work as well anymore! Think it is finally correct.
Powered up, loaded latest software V 8.72. Reviewed LRU connectively (all good), and software versions for roll & pitch servos. All current. GMC 507 = 2.90; GSA 28's = 4.70. All LRUs with green check marks. Set up various AP options in CONFIG module.
Begin working through ground set up checklist. AP disc and CWS seem good. GMC 507 head powers up and functions are selectable. Got to page 35-68 where pitch and roll test commands are entered. No stick movement in any axis. Got a problem somewhere.
