Brief Description: get SW version; T Jason no pics...some on phone
Latest troubleshooting tack on the ADSB issue is checking SW versions:
GNS 530 W v 5.30; GPS SW v 3.2 G3X v 5.60 GTX45R 2.05
Turns out the 530 GPS software needs to be v3.4 or higher, with 5.0 being the latest. Seems Aerotronics did not update 530W GPS side SW when updating the panel. Hopefully this solves the failed ADSB flight test issue. Not sure if I am happy or pissed!
