Brief Description: replumb pitot-static AOA with SafeAir fittings
Having sat on a hot ramp fooling aorund with pitot-static fittings before, I decided to install the SafeAir push on fittings...got from SteinAir. I bought them before I realized that Aerotronics would plumb all this with normal nylon fittings... they didn't in the original panel.
This way I can easily remove the G3X screens to allow good access to everything behind the panel. The GSU 25's (2) are mounted to the back side of the G3X units. If there was a regret on my original build, it was not allowing enough access to service items behind the panel. (original panel & wiring were all installed before the top was bonded on... not much access afterwards)
Still have an alternate static port to install tomorrow.
