Brief Description:  Dynamic prop balance

As smooth as I felt the engine was, I decided to get the prop dynamically balanced after breakin was complete. With 40 hours on the engine, low CHTs and low oil consumption, I decided to get the prop balanced at Venice Aviation while I was down for a week of R&R. Worked with Lance who has done work on our two Piper Lances before. A good wrench with a good demeanor.

Intitial run at 2450 RPM was .787! Yikes. Should be under .1.

3 runs and we had it dialed in to .07 with a lot of weight.. like 38 grams... about 8 big AN3 flat washers.. Was kind of breezy so we weren't sure how much further we could go. Split that weight between two screw stations and ran it up again... still .07. They say anythign under .1 you can't feel. Decided to go with it. Lance installed the perm. weights on the spinner bulkhead. Runs smooth, but haven't flown it yet.

3 hours and $275. Worth it.
