Now that I've been flying the new rings for 10 hrs, It was time to change the oil and adjust the rocker tappet clearances. Not a quick job, but not a bad one. I'm still getting a bit of blowby and a borescope shot says there still a good amount of breakin needed on her so I put 4 coats of Aeroshell 80 mineral oil in this time to help seat those rings. The next 15 hrs should be interesting. I also added a section of Aluminum Honeycomb to both Cylinder Plenums to see how it affect the CHT's in flight. I'm sure there will be a change, but what change I don't know. I'm excited to find out.
