Brief Description:  MASSIVE DELAM of Death

I have Absolutely NO idea how such a MASSIVE delamination could have happened to the underside of my wing. My only guess is that it slowly developed while sitting on my wall for the last few months. I spoke with EZ Jets about it and they led me to cut a slit inside the skin and see if the smell of gasses came out and it absolutely did. When I punctured the skin, the delam was easily able to be pressed back into position. Now I have to make the decision for the repair work. I'm most likely going to treat it like a smaller delam and keep an eye on it to see if it holds up. If not then it will need major surgery. For now, she will be injected with pure epoxy and held tight by using thin sheet of aluminum and ratchet straps to compress it back against the foam. LOTS of epoxy should also create a chemical bond with the cured epoxy when it sits outside for post cure.
