Using micro over filler is nice because the difference in color and ease of sanding will make for good contouring after cure. I decided to turn on a good radio show and get at it. It ended up being more of a steady meditation than tedious which helped a lot. focusing on one small area at a time I ended up puting dry micro in every void I could find. This also led to adding another layer along the strakes and longerons. My goal here is to get the surface level enough so that I can go back over it just 1 more time prior to skim coating. With the wings I learned to do EVERYTHING I can to bring the contour where it needs to be PRIOR to skimming as sanding the skim is no fun. I still have to tackle the turtle deck/canopy transition as well as the canard so she will sit here waiting for skim for another week or so.
