Realizing how much sanding and filling went on this week, I decided to bring out the trusty ol black primer to expose all hidden evils once again...and boy did they show up. Several new pin holes arrived and more importantly major differences in sheen due to using down to 36 grit on my last run. This means DEEP scratches. Good news is that I was more talented and dialed in on my gun this time and was able to get a full 3 coats with 1 qt. I found that thinning between 10 and 15% is pure magic. NO runs, no fuss, no orange peel. Tomorrw will be a full day dedicated to knocking out the last of the imperfections and spraying the final coats....like you haven't heard that before ;)
