I got the 4-40 rod in today and it's softer than I'd like it to be but still may work out fine. I mounted it and found that the area it's in is so tight that litterally 1/8" gave me hell. I tried all I could to work around it but ended up deciding to re-think things. without going into detail, I will be adding 1/8" ply to the fuselage side to move the trim bracket out a little which should make a world of difference. We'll see...
