Brief Description: Fabricated a mount for the Flap Position Sensor
Fabricated a mount for the Flap Position Sensor, the Ray Allen POS 12.
A section of hinge, about 1,5 inches wide, was riveted to a small piece of aluminum of equal width and about 4 inches length. This flat aluminum piece and hange will be riveted to the forward, left side of the F-807 bulkhead. The sensor will be attached to the mount with two pan head #8 screwsand nuts. With the hinge, the mount will be able to pivot as necessary during flap bar movement. The Position Sensor will be attached to the flap bar using an Adel Clamp, a small threaded bar and two clevos connectors purchased at Hobbytowm USA. One of the small clevos connector fits nicely to the Position Sensor's movement arm. I plan to connect the other clevos to an Adel Clamp attached to the Flap Bar. I'll have to include a small piece of aluminum on the clamp bolt. This aluminum piece will have a small hole drilled in it for attachment of the second clevos.
