Brief Description: Fashioned a miniature d-sub connector for roll tri
Fashioned a mini d-sub connector for roll trim wires.
This required the removal of the metal case around the female receptor. The encased receptor is split in halves. Some drips of adhesive was places between them to keep them together. The 26 ga wires were stripped and the ends were doubled over and inserted into the female d-sub pins and crimped using the DMC crimper. Finally, E-6000 was applied to the exiting wires to provide support and prevent damage to the wires from movement and vibration. The E-6000 dries clear and somewhat flexible.
