Brief Description:  Delivered the ECU to Jan Eggenfellner

Delivered the ECU to Jan Eggenfellner. While examining the inside circuit board, we noticed and chip in there that was different to the current example that Jan had opened. There were other changes. Jan said that the chip on the board was for another system. On that system, the coils control hung external to the ECU box. The current coils controls are inside the box on the cicuit board. This chip in my ECU was for use with the old system. A newer chip was used for the internalized coils control board. Additionally, the coils control board that protrudes from the main circuit board on my ECU looked ragged and more home made. The one on Jan's newer ECU was more refined in appearance and had a resistor for each coil control chip to protect it from power spikes. Jan gave me the upgraded ECU to take home with me with high hopes that this was the fix.
