Brief Description: Determined number of elevator washers needed
The temporary hinge pins arrived from Avery's. Onward with the elevator attachment.
Determined number of elevator washers needed, 3 AN-960-416 per side of the hinge bearing. But I wasn't able to continue any further. The plans call for insertion of the 1/4" bolt through the elevator horns to attach the elevators. There is no 1/4" holes in the horns and the instructions don't mention how the drill them. I checked the elevator construction instructions but could not find anything. I'll have to call Van's tomorrow.
