Brief Description:  Leveled the Vertical Stabilizer

Yesterday, I Leveled the Vertical Stabilizer side to side by drilling holes in a metal yard stick, one center and two eaqually distant from the center. The lateral holes were too far out. This gave the greatest chance of error and the yard stick tended to bow with the lines drawn tight.

Today, I drilled holes in the now scrap horizontal stabilizer stiffener bars and used it to hold the taut lines. There was no bowing from this thick bar. I was able to obtain equal measurements on both sides of the VS at similar reference points.

Made a plum line and hung it through the rudder hinges of the VS. I'll tackle the fore and aft leveling next time.
