Brief Description: Installed Left Cowl Flap Bearing and Doubler
Installed Left Cowl Flap Bearing and Doubler. The doubler needed significant massaging to get it to fit due to proximity of the firewall penetrations of the throttle and fuel firewall pass-through both lying adjacent to the best place for the Bearing. After drilling the firewall to match the doubler, the firewall was dimpled then the firewall and the doulbler were riveted in place using CS4-4 rivets. The bracket was bolted to installed nutplates installed on the doubler using AN-4-4A bolts torqued to 60 in lb.
