Brief Description: Primer Painted Windscreen Fairing and Skirt
Primer Painted Windscreen Fairing and Skirt. Used White PolyFiber Epoxy Primer. Puller the Tape and plastic off of the aircraft. All and all, the final results were pretty good.
Started to install the Skybolt fasteners to the firewall. Working on the spacing of the flanges so that there isn't a conflict between the fastener and the engine mount in the upper corners. Also, I am contemplating the spacing of the flanges in the middle of the firewall where the two halves (left and right) of the cowling will meet. I'll need a fastener for each side of the cowling but there can't be one in the midline of the firewall. Instead of the 3.5" separation goal between each fastener, I may have to go down to 3" on several flanges in order to get the needed sequence in the middle of the firewall.
