Worked on several tasks that need to be done. I removed the AHRS mounting platform and drilled lightening holes to reduce the weight. I will put some paint on the mount because I did notice some corrosion probably caused be sweat and/or humidity. Welcome to Florida! Removing the mount allowed me to lower the instrument panel and work some more on straightening up the wiring. I changed several of the adel clamps to larger sized ones because the wiring load had increased since they were initially placed.
I ran a 4 wire 22ga. cable through the center spar on the left side for the wiring of the Gretz heated pitot tube to the Vertical Power system. The Heated Pitot Tube operation signals will be displayed on the Vertical Power Display panel instead of by the LEDs that come with the Pitot System.
