Brief Description: Installed half of the Right Tip Nutplates
Installed half of the Right Tip Nutplates after I had surface converted the reinforcement strips. I cut the reinforcement strips into three segments prior to installation. The front strip sandwiches the Archer Antenna between it and the nutplates. This insures the good grounding contact the antenna needs wih the wings metal surface by way of the attachment screws. I divided the reinforcement strip because I was concerned that a continuous strip may bind when I installed the tip on the wing. This could result in some hole and attachment screw alignment mis-matches. Now, I have support for the edge and the nutplates yet maintain some flexibility of the edges.
