Brief Description: Cut the Cowling Aft Edge To Match the Firewall
Cut the Cowling Aft Edge To Match the Firewall using a cutoff wheel. Slightly sanded the edge with a long sanding block. The cut was made with extra material remaining to be sanded to fit. Messed with the fit at the firewall. Gentle sanding to coax a better fit a little at a time. Neede to re-drill the temporary cleco insert holes as it became apparant that there was excess material between the adjacent clecos during the fitting. With the newly re-positioned cleco holes the bulging of the material between the cleos improved but it became obvious that there was too much material bulginging at the right aft lower corner. This corner needed to be re-worked and altered to improve the fit.
