Brief Description: Installed the Landing Gear Legs
Installed the Landing Gear Legs. Lubricated the legs and tubes liberally with lithium grease and inserted the legs into the mounts. I had to lightly rub the non-powdercoated portions of the legs to both remove slight corrosion and to ease the installation of the legs into the mounts. To coerce the legs in the last inch, I gently tapped the legs using a wood block and a 2 lb hammer. This worked well to massage the legs into position. I had to taper a 5/16" punch to facilitate the installation of the right leg. The left leg bolt installed easily but the right leg was a bit more difficult to align the holes of the mount and the leg. Both bolts/nuts wer torqued to 120 in-lbs and Torque Seal applied.
