Brief Description: Troubleshot High Current Levels on Fuel Pumps
Troubleshot High Current Levels on Fuel Pumps. When the Boost Fuel Pump is on, the Vertical Power display shows the pump drawing 12-14 Amps. This is a problem since the circuit will only handle 10A and any sustained current in excess trips the solid-state breaker. The new Walbro 932 pumps were installed to replace the original fuel pumps that also showed high current draws on the Vertical Power display. Will post problem on Groups for advice.
